Introducing Our Latest Machine: Konica Minolta AL230 with a GM Finisher

SmithPrint is excited about the new addition to our arsenal! After listening to our clients and identifying a need in the print industry, we now have our Label Printing Press up and running – a beautiful Konica Minolta AL230 with a GM Finisher.

This press can run 4 color digital printing at 75+ feet per minute. Depending how large the label is, (from wine bottles, packaging, SKU labels and more) this equates to hundreds, if not thousands, of labels a minute, allowing us to handle custom label printing jobs of both large and small quantities with minimal set up time and a lot of flexibility. The digital print engine allows us to print both common art as well as variable data artwork such as numbering, barcodes, and other unique aspects.

The GM Finisher will not only die cut and remove the waste from the labels making it clean and easy for your applicator equipment, but it can run common color printing at an efficient rate of 145+ feet per minute. This speed also includes labels with white ink and spot varnishes. The label printing system also runs cold foil for special higher end labels. The robust common art color unit enables us to run large orders of simpler labels quickly. An exciting feature that prints ornate label print jobs with more cost-efficiency!
